Senior Project Manager

 Role: Senior Project Manager (Solas Power Solutions and IRL Flooring)

​

We are looking to hire a self-motivated Project Manager with experience in managing a team. This Project Manager will report directly to the Managing Director. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He/she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible. We are looking for a creative and dedicated individual who will fit with our collaborative culture.

 

Required Tasks:

• Manage and monitor all aspects of the Design, Planning and Construction phase of the project from design stage to completion and handover.

• Monitor procurement and follow up with suppliers to ensure deliveries arrive on time.

• Monitor compliance with building safety regulation for both onsite and offsite constructions.

• Obtain and manage 3rd party inspections as required

• Manage all Pre-construction submissions, such as Procurement schedule, material submittals, flooring and lighting schedule etc.

• Required to analyse, manage and mitigate risks of the projects through designing a risk mitigation plan.

• Required to look after the budgeting, estimating, quality, progress and planning of projects. Ensuring the projects meet their deadlines.

• Manage on-site construction activities to ensure completion of the project within the time and cost and quality parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize the output.

• Liaise with the clients/consultants for the successful and timely completion of the project.

• Attend all site weekly meetings and develop action plan against the points discussed.

• Co-ordinate all activities with various teams on site with sub-contractors and staffs.

• Reviewing shop drawings, product data, material samples, inspection plans and delivery schedules to confirm that they comply with the requirements of the project.

• Establishing a good relationship with clients and continuously monitoring it.

• Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects.

• Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions.

 

Experience and Skills:

​

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering/Arch/Interior Design.

• Society of Engineering membership.

• Minimum of 5 -6 years UAE experience in Interior Fit out works.

• Experience in an Interior Fit-out and Construction firm.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS office, MS projects.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)

• ​Valid UAE driving license is a must.

• Indian Keralite Preferred

               

Education and Training:

 

• Degree in Engineering is essential

• Degree in Business Management or Administration, not essential but preferable.

 

Company details:

 

There are two divisions within the same company – ‘Lighting - Design and Supply’ and ‘Flooring - Supply and Installation’. The Project Manager will be responsible in handling multiple projects across both divisions. Knowledge of flooring and interior fit-outs will be a definite advantage.
